The one-day conference takes place at the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the 3Rs principle described by Russel & Burch in 1959.
The scientific programme consists of dedicated sessions on each of the 3Rs with invited lectures, a debate session about the use of replacement approaches to produce affinity-reagent antibodies, a keynote lecture on alternatives for educational purposes, and poster presentations. The 3Rs Day represents a unique opportunity for Swiss scientists to present their research, interact with colleagues and learn about progress in the application of the 3Rs principle.
